When is the ideal time to begin?
Commence as early as 14 years old! However, timelines differ for athletes and coaches. Several university coaches initiate recruitment efforts several years in advance. Unfortunately, many athletes are unaware of this and persist in waiting to be contacted by a coach. The likelihood of being noticed by coaches is minimal unless you rank in the top 1% of your sport nationwide. Hence, it is advisable to start preparing for your recruitment process as soon as you begin high school.
